ABRAHAM J. DABDOUB, C.D.
Senior Partner
A graduate of St. George’s College and the Law Society of England, Abraham Joseph Dabdoub, C.D., serves as the Senior Partner at Dabdoub, Dabdoub & Co., bringing over five decades of legal expertise to the firm. Admitted to the Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica in 1970, Mr. Dabdoub has built a reputation as one of Jamaica’s most storied Attorneys-at-Law, known for his integrity, fearlessness, and exceptional legal acumen.
Mr. Dabdoub’s career spans constitutional law, electoral law, civil and commercial litigation, and real estate development. As both solicitor and advocate, he has successfully represented clients in numerous landmark cases, including high-profile election petitions and constitutional challenges. His strategic thinking has earned him the trust of clients and respect within the legal community.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Dabdoub has made significant contributions to Jamaica’s legal and political framework. He played a pivotal role in negotiating electoral reform and drafting the law establishing the Electoral Advisory Committee in 1979. As a legal advisor to Edward Seaga during his tenure as Leader of the Opposition and Prime Minister, Mr. Dabdoub provided counsel on critical national matters.
Mr. Dabdoub’s storied career includes representation in landmark cases such as Arthur Williams v. Dr. Douglas Manley, the Green Bay Enquiry, and other constitutional and electoral disputes. His work in these matters reflects his unwavering commitment to justice, truth, and the rule of law.
Since becoming Senior Partner at Dabdoub, Dabdoub & Co. in 1998, Mr. Dabdoub has continued to lead the firm with vision and dedication, delivering tailored legal solutions to a diverse clientele. His enduring contributions to the legal profession and Jamaica’s judicial system remain a testament to his profound legacy.

JALIL SAID DABDOUB, J.D.
Managing Partner

Jalil Said Dabdoub is the Managing Partner of Dabdoub, Dabdoub & Co., he brings over 25 years of legal and corporate experience to the firm. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, he is admitted to both the Florida and Jamaican Bars. Known for his meticulous approach to litigation, Jalil has successfully represented clients in a wide array of civil and commercial matters, including constitutional law, debt recovery, personal injury, and complex commercial litigation.
In addition to his skills in litigation, Jalil is a trusted conveyancer particularly in the context of developments. His detailed attention to the intricacies of legal documentation and transactions has earned him a reputation for excellence in this area. His work in property law complements his broader legal practice, ensuring clients benefit from comprehensive and precise legal support.
Jalil’s reputation for attention to detail extends across his work in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, where he has handled high-profile cases such as Dabdoub v Vaz, Paul Chen Young et al v Eagle Merchant Bank Limited et al –and Dabdoub v Mitchell.
Beyond his legal expertise, Jalil brings extensive executive experience as a director on multiple boards of successful private companies. His insight into business operations, combined with his legal acumen, makes him a trusted advisor to many prominent individuals and companies.
Outside of his practice, Jalil is an active contributor to public discourse, writing regularly for The Jamaica Gleaner on topics such as human rights, constitutional law, and the Jamaican legal system. He is also deeply committed to civic engagement, holding leadership roles in several civic organizations.
RAKEISHA A. COLEY
Associate
Rakeisha Coley joined Dabdoub Dabdoub & Co. in 2025 after being called to the Bar in 2024. She attended the University of the West Indies, Mona, where she earned her LLB with Upper Second Class Honors in 2022. During her time at the University, Rakeisha was an active member of campus life, serving as Cluster Representative for AZ Preston Hall from 2020 to 2021.
Following her undergraduate studies, Rakeisha went on to Norman Manley Law School, where she obtained her Legal Education Certificate in 2024 and participated in various outreach programs.
Before joining Dabdoub Dabdoub & Co., Rakeisha gained valuable practical experience as an intern in the litigation department of a well-known law firm in Kingston.
Rakeisha’s areas of practice include, but are not limited to, Family Law, Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Conveyancing, and Estate Administration.
Outside of her legal career, she enjoys staying active through gym workouts, swimming, and participating in running and walking marathons.
